This is a very relatable track that ends on a lighter note with a resolution that hope and retribution always come after every hardship. The same themes could also be expected for the next track, “Amalgamated from the Carbon,” which also features the artist’s gritty line deliveries and deep stories through experience.
The EP ends with the short track “Nothin’ to Explain,” which is packed with stories that cover the life of Oneson Clang. This track also carries the same spitfire delivery from the artist while he tells stories about the hardships and challenges in his personal life. It is a great song where the artist shares his experiences with the listeners so they can connect and discover more about this artist.
Ultimately, Aquatic Flames by Oneson Clang is an enjoyable listen. It is a refreshing sound that reflects the realities of life through the eyes of this artist. It is well-written, the production is definitely high-tier, and the rap delivery and performance of this artist are definitely gritty and thrilling.
