Their styles were intricately combined to make this one great mixtape with a smoothly blended vibe that is chill and cool, anchored through some acoustic and jazz undertones, which also accentuated the color and richness of vocals in the tracks in this collection. “Stayin” is one great example of a track with a cool tone infused by R&B sound in this collection. It is chill and smooth; more importantly, vocal-wise, it is just absolute goodness. The delivery of the rap lines was spitfire, and the female vocals were just majestic.
One of the things that stood out on this album is the strong presence of female performers in this collection. “Overthinkin” is a cool, chill, and heartfelt track that talks about the reality of always wanting and trying to take careful steps toward their life because they can’t afford to stumble. The fun and coolness continue with the track “Up to Speed.” This features the artist Luccini Sweets, where a showcase of smooth and satisfying vocals goes along with the perfect beats and drops, which is honestly the right amount of everything that you wanted in a song. “Sirens (ft. Sakiliba & James Izcray),” “Need 4,” “About: Blank,” and “AUTOMATISM,” on the other hand, are packed with sexy smooth jazz, cool beats, and raps, and the highlight is the best vocals of the female artists on these tracks! Girl power galore!
Three Flaves is not complete without some great elements about it—the great vocals, spitfire yet clean rap delivery, and great sound production from the get-go. “Inner Stellar Master” comes in with its repeated lines “feeling like a rap star” along with its cool beats. “Rise Up” with its awesome beatbox delivers a clear message to not give up and rise up from all the crap that’s happening lately. “Dat Walk (ft. Luccini Sweets) is packed with cool beats, which highlight the evocative and top-quality vocals from the artists. On the other hand, “Black Sheepness gives off a mysterious vibe as accentuated by the great rap delivery of Keysuna with some harmonics and classic beats, which is fresh-sounding yet nostalgic to your ears.
You just have to experience this whole collection—it is vast, and the whole listening experience will give you satisfaction. “Mo Betta Blues (Armstrong),” Too Good,” “I Mean It,” “In the Mood,” and “Big Moves” were also featured on this mixtape.
