Teenbird Band drops nostalgic sound through EP “Roadtrip Songs”

My whole life, I have been listening to all kinds of music, having been born into a family of musicians, and 80’s-90’s rock has always been a staple. Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, Scorpions, and Queen are some of the household names, and I have always appreciated the craft and the music that these great people bring in every piece that they make, and today, with the music brought by Teenbird Band on their latest EP entitled “Roadtrip Songs,” it sure brought back nostalgia.

From the get-go, TeenBird Band has done a great job repackaging the classics on this EP, giving it a fresh and unique sound, and opening with a classic track “Born to be Wild,” Steppenwolf is absolutely the best choice. The song introduces the whole collection in a way that can be characterized as a uniquely owned sound by the band. The top-notch vocals are definitely one of its main strengths; moreover, the techniques made by the guitarist in ripping off some awesome notes and riffs using the guitars are absolutely insane. A classic hard rock track right here.

Highway Star,”  a classic from Deep Purple, has been reimagined and opens with driving tempo and great guitar riffs, and to top that off is the unbelievable high notes that ripped through brought by the powerful vocals of the vocalist. This was honestly an enjoyable listen, as it is packed with some organic rock n roll that brings back the music from the past while breathing new life to it through modern yet familiar sound. Jumpin Jack Flash” and “Panama,”  classics from the Rolling Stones and Van Halen, are also part of this collection, and these tracks are my honest favorites in this collection. With its good rhythm and consistent pumping of energy as brought by an upbeat tempo, these tracks guarantee a headbang from your listen.

With “King of Thunder Road,” the Teenbird band has infused Bruce Springsteen’s classic ballad with some awesome rock elements, making it energetic and giving it an alternative perspective through powerful guitar and drum performances.

The EP ends with the Teenbird Band’s original, “Open Road Heart.” This track demonstrates the band’s deep understanding and passion toward hard rock music. The grunge, the metal, and the gritty elements of the genre have been properly translated into this cohesive track, making this a truly impressive release and an absolutely enjoyable listening experience. We can’t wait to hear more from this band in the future!

Throughout the whole listen on this album, Teenbird Band has managed to make a noteworthy production for the EP “Roadtrip Songs.” They created their own sound and persona in the industry with their powerful vocals, solid drums, and guitar riff skills, and passionate performances in covering all the classics from the big names in the music industry. It is ambitious, but the band surely delivered one helluva performance for this EP. Overall, they’ve created a fresh perspective in all the tracks that they have covered while respecting the legacy and position of each of those tracks from the music industry.
